Allen,Congratulations on what sounds like a fine pofrermance! Hopefully you'll post an mp3 here?Yeah, premieres are potent experiences. I find I rarely look at the players when my pieces are played. No matter how many times we go through it, the recording always sounds much better a few days later .I'm very grateful for the opportunity of subsequent pofrermances. My works improve dramatically after about three pofrermances. I can take comfort in the anecdote about Bartok-supposedly he wouldn't let the string quartets be published until they'd been performed a few times
