How to Imitate 2017 Nike Company’s Marketing Strategies

Every year, Nike Corporation puts forward 50 million dollars as the expenses of technological research and goods development since 1995, and they studied the products from many points of view, such as biomechanics, engineering technology, industrial design, chemistry, physiology and so on. Nike Company also obtained some new technologies through acquisition strategy. For example, American Tetra Company is specialized in manufacturing gasbag materials, and those shock absorption series sporting shoes adopted this technique, which was very important in Nike Company's glory in 1980s.
Nike Company is also thinking highly of consumers' feedback message. On the one hand, it contributes to understand consumers' likes and seize market changes, and on the other hand, it also helps the company's research personnel to perfect the properties of the products.
Nike Company consistently holds a principle: "we made great efforts in technological development for inferior goods certainly can't give rise to people's emotional input". Knight said: "if disingenuous goods are placed on the market, people will realize early or late".
As is known to all, Nike Company's marketing strategy is claimed to be businesses' example. Whether Jordan type star endorsement strategy or infinite original ads, Nike Company always shows that it is a vibrant company in the process of market promotion and every type of Nike shoes are full of temptation.
Phile Knight stated clearly: "marketing is similar with sociology in my opinion. What Nike did most triumphant is that it annotated what people are doing at present, and where their interests are, however we are very honored that our initial conception was achieved. Knight always holds an idea that it is an immoral and difficult task to sell out goods that others don't need. Knight expects that Nike's marketing action is not just let everyone pay attention to its commodities, but continually alert everyone what Nike Company is doing.
In 1993, Nike Company with Coca-Cola and Gourmet Vodka jointly were chosen to be the first members of American Marketing Association's Hall of Fame. With the viewpoint of "new air jordan shoes": "the alleged well-known brands must have sustaining prosperity, high creative ability and powerful trailblazing capacity, which could arouse important impact to public life forms, and simultaneously which could prove to be all American businesses' studying objective. Apparently Phil Knight formed a blast of culture for Nike Company, which can't be copied effortlessly and his perspective pandered to the cultural standpoint of marketing which has been shaped since 1950s. A company which is primarily based on marketing management is a company which could produce customers and according to this transformation, the profit itself is proving to be less significant and the customers' satisfaction is the company's largest battle.
