Together with the Steam Summer Sale with a reduction on NBA 2k20, I am feeling very tempted. I have not owned an NBA game in roughly 10 decades. I'm skeptical with all of the reviews that are negative. Is this game for just picking up and enjoying? Didn't have anything or micro transactions. I'm most interested in playing random matches, playing MyGM, and a small bit NBA MT Coins of MyCareer. Do any computer players advise this game? I'd appreciate any input anyone can offer. Thank you!

I play think that it's worth $10 and is myCareer. But honestly it'd be better to get the legendary edition because of all of the coins that they give you which enhances your character. How do the coins and cards work, if you don't mind my asking? Until you unlock their cards, do you not have every participant? Do coins only apply to a player that is created? You use the coins to upgrade purchase animations and your personality to be used in match + makeup. Every player will probably be accessible in play today, and mygm (franchise mode), but for your card collecting/team building game mode, you are going to use either the typical virtual currency or the one special to the my team style.

It's not a terrible game in the slightest. Especially for someone who hasn't played with. A lot of the complaints come as a result of the community handles than anything. Like yes, you are gonna have small children, and overall shitboxes in the internet community, also rampant toxicity and that is frustrating as all hell. But to mepersonally, mechanically it's not a terrible game, although I have my gripes - both inside offense and defense dont make a great deal of sense, in addition to the shot competitions have been finicky at best (as in, a shooter with no shield nearby being contemplated greatly contested and vice versa). Nonetheless, it is not a game it is being painted as, to me's monster.

If you plan on playing offline go for it, particularly with all the mods to buy mt coins. There is latency issues lag and bugs. However, you can get accustomed to it. I have seen hackers in the US. Personally, I play in Europe and that I don't find that many hackers with long arms only legend modders. Online is more enjoyable with friends. Playing randoms in park is not that fun. I suggest buying it. Spend the extra cash and get the variant.
