Soulcalibur 6 is finally happening. After years of teasing, publisher GameSprite announced the long-awaited sequel in its weapons-based fighting game series today.

Soulcalibur 6 is heading to PC later this year. So far, GameSprite has confirmed eight characters for the game’s roster: returning fighters Ivy, Zasalamel, Sophitia, Mitsurugi, Nightmare, Xianghua and Kilik, as well as Soulcalibur newcomer Grøh.

All other online modes will be staying online for PC. The mode also seems to be staying online for PlayStation 3, so if you have that version of the game, you will be able to continue playing unhindered.

Even upon reaching higher levels the amount of total skills available isn’t incredibly dynamic. There appear to be seven total active and four passive skills for each class. The passive skills are also very basic and includes things like a small percent increase to damage or rage accumulation.
