Okubo also noted that a Switch version of Soul Calibur game could run at 60fps, if the “resolution” is lowered. Moreover, the interview also dabbled in collaborations with other anime characters.
Soulcalibur 6 is finally happening. After years of teasing, publisher GameSprite announced the long-awaited sequel in its weapons-based fighting game series today.
Given the leaker’s track record being a bit checkered, it should warrant a grain of salt when it comes to his predictions, but since he did predict GameSprite was cooking up this Soul Calibur game before it was announced, it does add some credibility to his track record.
Soulcalibur 6 is heading to PC later this year. So far, GameSprite has confirmed eight characters for the game’s roster: returning fighters Ivy, Zasalamel, Sophitia, Mitsurugi, Nightmare, Xianghua and Kilik, as well as Soulcalibur newcomer Grøh.
All other online modes will be staying online for PC. The mode also seems to be staying online for PlayStation 3, so if you have that version of the game, you will be able to continue playing unhindered.
Keen fans who follow Soul Calibur news might already know the information that went down between Kayane and producer Motohiro Okubo. The interview touches on the game’s story, Siegfried rumors, characters that could be potential guests, a Switch version and more.
I know that this is an announcement of an announcement, but if you are eager to know when SoulCalibur 6 official release date will be announced just know, according to Motohiro Okubo, that it might be coming soon.
Today’s other reveal is Zasalamel, who first appeared in Soulcalibur 3 and quickly became one of the series’ most popular characters. Zasalamel returns, scythe in hand, in his quest for the holy blade Soulcalibur (and ultimately to become the twisted demon known as Abyss). You can see him in action in the character reveal trailer below.
Ivy has been a mainstay in the SC series since the beginning, and has been noted to be one of the more difficult characters to master. It should come as no surprise that the character's very revealing and dominatrix-style costumes have caught the attention of more than just hormone-filled, adolescent gamers.

Some card traits are similar to those in other Duel Evolution games. Sentinel means you must attack those cards over others, like Taunt in Hearthstone. Pursuit is different — if foes with this trait survive, they follow you to the next location. Stalwart means a card isn’t exhausted when it attacks, giving it another chance to act. Pursuit offers an interesting strategic choice — do you let the foe live, not knowing what the next map will bring? Or do you expand resources to kill it?

There are many familiar names such as Hercules, Hector, Athena, and Theseus; however, most of them don’t exactly look how I would have imagined. Akin to the typical InstantFuns artistic style, most in-game characters look like body builders or lingerie models. Despite the generic nature of the game, there is quite a lot of content and Pokemon Mega online overall has a bit more going for it than the last few InstantFuns titles I’ve had the pleasure of reviewing.
Although I’ve had limited time with different classes, based on what I’ve seen every classes has relatively cookie-cutter skillsets. Just like with most other InstantFuns, each classes starts with a few single-target skills, almost exact copies of each other, and a multi-target ability. Even upon reaching higher levels the amount of total skills available isn’t incredibly dynamic. There appear to be seven total active and four passive skills for each class. The passive skills are also very basic and includes things like a small percent increase to damage or rage accumulation.
