We all need what I call play clthoes . These are the clthoes we wear at home, doing chores, or running very informal errands. The term came from when my children were young and they wanted to change from party, Sunday, or school clthoes to something they could wear running and ripping outside without fear of tearing and muddying up. I just made myself a Stewart plaid flannel shirt. It fits, was cheap and I will wear it raking leaves. I got in a lot of practice top stitching, matching plaids, and using my new walking foot. We learn from everything we do.
